2. Introduction and scope

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Revista Palermo collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal information when you use the "Revista Palermo" mobile application (the "App").

This Policy applies to all users (free and Premium) and to data collected through the App and related services.

3. Legal framework

This Policy is intended to comply with Argentine Law No. 25.326 on Personal Data Protection and related regulations, and with applicable platform requirements.

4. Principles

• We process data lawfully, fairly and transparently.
• We collect data only for specific, legitimate purposes.
• We keep data accurate and only as long as necessary.
• We take technical and organizational measures to protect data.

5. Information we collect

5.1 Registration and account data

Users may register using Google or Apple ID. When you register via these services we may receive:

• Full name (as provided by the user)
• Email address (only if you choose to share it)
• Unique user ID from Google or Apple
• Profile photo (if publicly available and shared)

We do not have access to your account credentials or any other private information from Google or Apple beyond what you expressly authorize.

5.2 Subscription and payment data

Premium subscriptions are processed by Mercado Pago. We store subscription status and subscription IDs. Sensitive card data is processed exclusively by Mercado Pago and is not stored by Revista Palermo.

5.3 Usage and analytics

We use Google Analytics (basic) to measure aggregated usage (for example: how many users, from which countries, which screens are used most). Google Analytics as configured by us does not identify individual users to Revista Palermo. Data is analyzed in aggregated or anonymized form. We also collect an anonymized device identifier to support analytics and app functionality.

5.4 Content interaction

We collect which articles are read, reading time, in-app searches and content preferences. The App displays YouTube content only as links: when a user taps a video link the App opens the YouTube application or website. We do not embed or host YouTube videos directly in the App.

5.5 Data we do not collect

• Precise geographic location (GPS)
• Device contact list
• Audio or video recordings without explicit consent
• Biometric data
• Browsing data outside the App

6. Purpose of processing

We use personal data only for:

• Account management and authentication
• Delivering and personalizing editorial content
• Managing subscriptions and payments
• User communication and support
• Statistical analysis to improve the App
• Legal compliance and fraud prevention

7. Legal basis

Processing is based on user consent (by registering and accepting this Policy), contract execution for Premium services, and compliance with legal obligations.

8. Tracking, advertising and App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

The App does not use personal identifiers for advertising or cross-app tracking. We do not serve targeted advertising based on personal identifiers. Google Analytics is used only for aggregated/anonymized analytics.

This App complies with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines and the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If any tracking or advertising functionality that requires ATT is introduced in the future, we will request the required permission via the ATT prompt and update this Policy accordingly.

9. Data sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share data with:

• Google LLC — for authentication (when you sign in with Google) and for Google Analytics.
• Apple Inc. — for authentication when you sign in with Apple ID.
• Mercado Pago — for payment and subscription processing.
• YouTube/Google — when users open YouTube links externally.

10. International transfers

All application servers and primary data processing are located in Argentina. We do not transfer user personal data outside Argentina for storage or primary processing.

11. Data retention

We retain personal data as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as required to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes. Aggregated or anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

12. User rights and account deletion

You have the right to access, correct, object to processing, request data deletion and portability within applicable law. To request access, correction or deletion:

• Use the App’s Delete Account option (if available), or

We will respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law.

13. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit and at rest, firewalls, access controls, multi-factor authentication for admin access, regular backups and audits.

14. Cookies and similar technologies

The App uses essential cookies and analytics technologies. Essential cookies are required for core functionality and cannot be disabled. Analytics are used in aggregated/anonymized form.

15. Policy updates

We may update this Policy to reflect legal or technical changes. Updates will be notified within the App and the effective date will be updated.

16. YouTube links

The App shows links to YouTube videos for convenience. When you open a YouTube link you leave the App and access content on YouTube. By following such links you accept YouTube's terms and the Google Privacy Policy for that external service.
